Free events are easy to skip. We take showing up seriously: if you don't come, someone else misses out on a date.

  • Speed Dating 

    Please review the details below carefully so you know what to expect.

    Ages: 25–35
    Date: Saturday, October 3 at 3:00 PM
    Spots: 14 total — 7 ladies and 7 gentlemen
    Registration: Spots are first-come, first-served.
    Deposit: A $20 refundable deposit is required to hold your spot. If you receive a spot, you have 24 hours to pay the deposit.

    How it works: You will have a 10-minute conversation with each person you meet.
    Participation: You are expected to take part in each conversation.
    Support: You may bring your own support person if you need individual support.
    Communication: A working cell phone that can receive text messages and a working email address are required.
    Photos & Videos: Photos and videos may be taken during the event. By registering, you agree to be included as part of participating.
    After the event: Phone numbers for participating ladies and gentlemen will be shared after the event so everyone has an opportunity to stay connected. If after the event you'd prefer not to have your number shared, just let us know and we'll leave you out of the exchange.
    Food & Drinks: No food or other drinks will be provided. Water will be the only drink provided. You may bring your own water if needed.

  • Coming to the Event

    • There are only 14 spots available.
    • If you sign up, please plan to attend.
    • A $20 refundable deposit is required to hold your spot.
    • If you cannot attend, please notify She Socials as soon as possible.

     

    Safety

    • Be kind to others. Listen when someone is talking. Respect personal space.
    • Ask a volunteer for help if you need it.
    • We have a limited number of volunteers and limited space. We cannot promise every type of support or accommodation.

     

    Pictures & Videos

     • Photos and videos are taken at every She Socials event and are a required part of attending.
    • They may be used on social media, the website, advertising, and other promotional materials. They help future participants see that She Socials is a real, active event and encourage attendance at upcoming events. 

     

    Text Messages

    • We will text you about registration, reminders, updates, payment, and other event information.
    • You need a working cell phone that can receive texts and emails to register.

     

    How Speed Dating Works

    • You will meet each person at the event and talk with them for 10 minutes.
    • When 10 minutes are over, you will move to the next person, until you have talked with everyone.
    • She Socials cannot promise that you will find a date, friend, or romantic connection.
