Do you agree with our statement of Faith? At Christian Doulas of Michigan, we serve families with Christ-centered care rooted in love, truth, and compassion. Our network is made up of Spirit-filled doulas from various Christian traditions who agree on the core tenets of the Christian faith. The following beliefs are foundational to our ministry and are affirmed by every doula listed on our website.What We Believe• We believe in one God—Father, Son, and Holy Spirit—eternally existing in three persons.Matthew 28:19 | 2 Corinthians 13:14 | Deuteronomy 6:4• We believe that Jesus Christ is the Son of God, fully God and fully man. He was born of a virgin, lived a sinless life, died on the cross for our sins, rose from the dead, and will return in glory.John 1:1,14 | Philippians 2:5–11 | Isaiah 7:14 | Hebrews 4:15 | 1 Corinthians 15:3–4 | Acts 1:11• We believe that salvation is by grace alone, through faith alone, in Jesus Christ alone—not by our own works. While we all share these core beliefs, we recognize that doulas may come from different denominational backgrounds and may hold varying views on secondary theological issues. We encourage families to have open, respectful conversations with doulas to find the best fit for their needs and values.
