Florida Lesbian Zine Fest Vendor Application
Join us in celebrating physical queer media at our Florida Lesbian Zine Fest in Gainesville, FL! We would love to feature incredible Florida lesbians and sapphics and the zines they so lovingly create. Applications will close on November 1 and you’ll hear back from us mid-November. There is NO vendor fee!!
Our Mission
Florida Lesbian Zine Fest (FLZF) was created as an act of resistance against the fascist horrors of a digital surveillance state. In a world where artistic integrity is being compromised by AI, grassroots print culture is needed now more than ever. FLZF is a celebration of radical self-publishing and sapphic and trans creativity. This event is a love letter to DIY queer physical media for all queer people and allies to enjoy. This event is created by lesbians, for lesbians. We want FLZF to prioritize and highlight underrepresented voices in the queer community. Black lesbians, Indigenous lesbians, all lesbians of color, trans lesbians, disabled lesbians, and lesbians who hold multiple identities will be prioritized as vendors and artists. Applications from cis men will not be considered.
What We’re Looking For
Florida Lesbian Zine Fest is a space for people to make and share physical media (like zines!), while celebrating lesbian and trans artists. We’re curating a selection of zinesters who share a love of DIY publishing and want to connect outside of the digital realm. We will only accept original art: absolutely no use of generative AI will be allowed or accepted. Zines that cover topics like queer history and ways to support your community are especially encouraged, but we welcome zine topics of all kinds that let your creativity flourish! Vendors are welcome to sell their zines and/or distribute freely. We also encourage folks to trade media!

We will provide tables to all of our vendors! Let us know what works best for you: There are 6-feet and 4-feet tables. 6-feet tables will be used for people who are able to share, 4-feet tables will be used for those who need an entire table.
I would need the entire table for my work
I would only need half of the table for my work, and I’m comfortable splitting the table with another vendor
I would only need half of the table for my work, but I do not feel comfortable splitting the table with another vendor
I would need to bring my own table, that suits my tabling needs the best
We plan to put all of our vendors inside the main gallery space. There will be an outdoor space, which we will mostly utilize for decompression spaces and a food truck. If we decide to host vendors outside as well, would you want to table indoors or outdoors? The outdoor space is a well-lit, grassy courtyard.
indoors only
indoors or outdoors
i would prefer outdoors, if that becomes an option
Can’t make it, but still want us to feature your work? Submit your zine files here!! We will have an entire table full of free resources, including zines.

We would like everyone who attends to be able to leave with physical media to take home with them to inspire their own creativity, build up their collection, and hopefully mobilize folks to engage and organize with their communities. The event organizers are facilitating a creative space for folks to make their own zines as well as providing a free table with rad zines and harm reduction materials. If our vendors can afford to, we would love to expand our free(ish) offerings! Would you have anything available freely at your table? Would you be open to trades? Tell us more!
As we mentioned earlier, accessibility is important to us!! We want this space to be for ALL of us. What do you need from us to make this possible for you?
