This application form is intended exclusively for farmers who operate agricultural greenhouses and who wish to participate in the Agricultural Greenhouse Plastic Waste Collection Scheme administered by Riżorsi Agrikoli Malta (RAM).
The Scheme has been established to support sustainable agricultural practices by facilitating the proper collection, handling and disposal of plastic waste generated from agricultural greenhouses. The Scheme aims to assist eligible farmers in managing greenhouse plastic waste in a responsible and environmentally sustainable manner, thereby reducing its impact on the environment and promoting responsible farm management.
Agricultural greenhouse plastic waste may include, but is not limited to, greenhouse plastic sheeting, plastic covering materials, mulch films, irrigation tubing and other agricultural plastics associated with greenhouse cultivation.
Eligibility: This Scheme is applicable only to farmers who operate agricultural greenhouses and who satisfy the applicable eligibility requirements established by Riżorsi Agrikoli Malta.
