  • UP TO TWO $500 SCHOLARSHIPS WILL BE AWARDED

  • America's Clogging Hall of Fame is proud to recognize outstanding students who demonstrate excellence in academics, involvement in their communities, and continued dedication to the clogging community.

    ACHF will award up to two $500 academic scholarships to exceptional students who have competed within America's Clogging Hall of Fame for at least the past four consecutive years. Recipients will be recognized during the ACHF National Championships.

    Scholarship funds are paid directly to the recipient's college, university, community college, or technical school and applied to the recipient's student account. No funds will be paid directly to the student or family.

  • ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS

    • Be a current high school senior or currently enrolled post-secondary student.
    • Have competed within America's Clogging Hall of Fame for at least the past four consecutive years.
    • Demonstrate strong academic achievement.
    • If currently attending a college, university, community college, or technical school, be enrolled as a full-time student.
    • Submit a completed and signed application, official academic transcript, one-page typed essay, and letter of recommendation from the current clogging director or teacher.
    • Ensure all required materials are received by the deadline.

    Students attending or planning to attend a college, university, community college, or technical school are eligible for consideration.

    The completed application and all required supporting materials must be received by the deadline. Email the application, official transcript, director or teacher recommendation, and one-page essay directly to achfscholarships@gmail.com. Letters of recommendation should be emailed by director.

    The applicant is responsible for confirming that materials submitted on the applicant's behalf are received on time. Incomplete or late applications will not be considered.

  • Write a one-page, single-spaced typed essay responding to the following topic:
    How has your involvement in clogging and ACHF helped shape the person you are today?
    Describe the lessons, experiences, or relationships that have influenced you through your participation in clogging and ACHF. Explain how you plan to carry those lessons into your education, future career, and community.

  • LETTER OF RECOMMENDATION

  • At least one letter of recommendation from your current clogging director or teacher must be submitted by them via email. The letter should provide insight into your character, work ethic, leadership, commitment to your team and the clogging community, and any other qualities the director or teacher believes should be considered by the ACHF Scholarship Committee. Competition placements or titles are not required to be addressed.

  • REQUIRED APPLICATION MATERIALS

  • SCHOLARSHIP PAYMENT INFORMATION

  • ACHF pays scholarship funds directly to the recipient's eligible post-secondary institution for application to the recipient's student account. No funds will be paid directly to the student or family.

    Only scholarship recipients will be asked to provide:
    • Full name as listed with the school and student identification number
    • Name of the college, university, community college, or technical school
    • Registrar, Bursar, Financial Aid, or Scholarship Office mailing information, as applicable
    • Any additional information reasonably required by the school to submit and designate payment
    Do not include your student identification number with this application.
  • RECIPIENT PAYMENT DEADLINES

  • Currently Enrolled College or Post Secondary Students
    Recipients who are currently enrolled as full-time students must provide their student identification number and required school payment information by email to the ACHF Scholarship Committee immediately upon notification of the award so funds may be submitted to their school.

    Current High School Seniors
    High school senior recipients must provide their student identification number and the appropriate scholarship or payment mailing information for the school they will attend no later than May 1st of the upcoming year. Funds will be submitted after the required information is received and necessary enrollment information is available.

    ACHF cannot issue scholarship funds until all required student and school information has been provided.
