    Confidential Application for Appointment – 2027

  • We are pleased to announce that the Texas REALTORS® Leadership Program (TRLP) is being offered in partnership with the REALTOR® associations in Region 3: Arlington (ARBOR) Greater Denton/Wise (GDWCAR), Granbury (GAR), Greater Fort Worth (GFWAR), Greater Metro West (GMWAR), Johnson County (JCAR), and Region 4: Greater Texoma (GTAR).  

    The program is designed to assist members to acquire leadership skills, strengthen their involvement on all levels of the REALTOR® organization, and provide them with a background in several topics of importance to REALTORS® seeking to take the next step in their career and volunteer leadership.

    The program consists of eight modules that will be offered from Winter 2027 through Summer 2027, including an opening overnight retreat. Graduates of TRLP are placed on the fast track for leadership opportunities at their local association and the Texas Association of REALTORS®.

    Following the completion of an application, TRLP participants will be selected by an anonymous committee of participating board and association members. The deadline to apply for the 2027 TRLP is 5:00 p.m., Tuesday, December 1, 2026. 

    The number of participants will be approximately 20. Since the number of appointments to TRLP is limited, applicants who are not selected are encouraged to re-apply in subsequent years. A TRLP Selection Committee will select program members from a cross-section of the REALTOR® membership within the participating associations.

    Participants are expected to attend all modules, including the overnight retreat. Those who fail to attend may be asked to withdraw, with no refund of tuition.

    Tuition for the eight-module program is $500. This may be paid for entirely by the participant or in partnership with a broker or a sponsor. Times and dates for modules are listed below and will be held at local associations throughout Regions 3 and 4, as well as the one overnight stay. Thank you for your interest in applying!

    Each TRLP module is unique and will feature speakers from several arenas of leadership. We will also meet with several of the top leaders within the REALTOR® association. You should plan on spending the full day listed below for each module, although the hours will vary. Some modules will include CE credit.

    Although we do not anticipate changes, if we are compelled to reschedule one of the modules, we will contact the class members with as much notice as possible and work to come up with a new date that will be convenient for the class.

  • If you are selected for the program and graduate from the Texas REALTORS® Leadership Program, will you commit to serving the association in leadership positions and/or in other positions within the association?

  • To graduate from the Texas REALTORS® Leadership Program, a participant is expected to attend all modules.

  • I understand the purposes of the Texas REALTORS® Leadership Program and if I am selected, I will devote the time and resources necessary to complete the program. Even though emergencies arise, any participant missing more than the allotted attendance requirement, for whatever reason, may be asked to withdraw from the program and no portion of the tuition shall be refunded. I understand the above commitments and agree to be bound by them in signing the application.

  • Tuition: If accepted into the Texas REALTORS® Leadership Program, you will be billed for the $500 tuition fee which covers all program costs, including room and meals at the overnight module. Tuition is due by December 18, 2026.
