  • Celebrate Occoquan is the primary fundraiser for Visit Occoquan, a 501(c)3 nonprofit. This event helps fund tourism, marketing, and more for the businesses and community in Occoquan, Virginia.

    This year's event will take place Saturday, October 17 and include two parts: A FREE daytime portion throughout town, focused on the town's businesses and what they offer to the community, plus an Evening Benefit in the Park!

    10:00am-6:00pm, throughout Occoquan, Virginia
    • Browse our 80+ locally owned shops, galleries, restaurants, and small businesses
    • Special events, demonstrations, and workshops will be announced soon!
    • FREE, no tickets required
     
    12:00pm-4:00pm, Mamie Davis Park, 205 Mill Street, Occoquan, Virginia 
    • Bid on Silent Auction items to help raise funds for Visit Occoquan!
    • The auction items will stay up through the benefit in the evening, closing around 8:30pm.
    • The silent auction will open online on Monday, October 5, 2026 at 9am! You will be able to browse and bid on items ahead of the event this year.
    • FREE, no tickets required

     

    Evening Benefit in the Park

     
    6:00pm-9:00pm, Mamie Davis Park, 205 Mill Street, Occoquan, Virginia
    • Enjoy a Taste of Occoquan with food from in-town restaurants and eateries
    • The Visit Occoquan Bar will have specialty cocktails, beer, wine, and more
    • Bid on items in the silent auction (closes 8:30pm)
    • The live auction starts at 8:00pm with specialty items you won't want to miss!
    • Tickets start at $45 per person - includes food and one (1) drink ticket

  • Volunteer Opportuntities

  • We want volunteers to have the opporunity to enjoy and partake in the event! All shifts are scheduled to allow volunteers to enjoy the Evening Benefit before or after their shift.

    Volunteers will receive:

    • Complimentary entrance to the Evening Benefit (6:00-9:00pm)
    • One (1) Complimentary drink ticket (to be used while NOT serving at the bar)

    All volunteer positions will take place outside in Mamie Davis Park. The rain-date for this event is Sunday, October 18.

  • Celebrate Bar

    Serving beer, wine, pre-mixed cocktails, water, and soda at a "cash" bar. Guests will have drink tickets but may also purchase additional drinks via cash or credit card. A Bar Manager will be on-site to train and oversee operations. No bartending experience necessary. This is a good position for someone who likes to be active and move at a fast and fun pace! Volunteers must be 18 years of age or older to serve here.

    Greet guests, check for pre-paid tickets, and assist guests with purchasing tickets through a QR code, for entry into the event. Check IDs for those who are interested in drinking alcohol that evening. This is a good position for someone who wishes to remain seated.

    Greet guests and answer questions about the auction and the online platform we are using. An FAQ list will be provided to volunteers. This is a good position for someone who wants to seat or be mildly active and on their feet. The set up shift includes getting tables set up and helping arrange the items in an ascetically pleasing way.
