Starting October 17th, 2026, join us for Aqeedah – Athari (AQDH-1110H), an introduction to the foundations of Ḥanbalī-Atharī creed based on one of its important classical works, Lumʿah al-Iʿtiqād (لمعة الاعتقاد) by Imām Ibn Qudāmah al-Maqdisī.
Through this text, students will study foundational topics in Ḥanbalī creed, including Allah’s Divine Names and Attributes and the Atharī approach towards them, īmān and qadr, matters of the unseen, and the rights of the Companions رضي الله عنهم. The course will also cover topics such as obedience to the Khalīfah, ijmāʿ, and taqlīd, along with other essential matters of creed.
