Would you like to take part in a community play which uses the whole village as a set?
Or make a film about the village?
Using a mixture of theatre and film footage, we want to tell the stories which make up Garelochhead, past and present, through a large-scale community theatre/film project.
If you are interested in acting, directing, playing music, filmmaking, writing, singing, stage management, building sets, costume, make up, photography, then this is the project for you.
Or if you just want to hang about, have a laugh and contribute some tales from the sidelines, that’s great too.
Don’t worry if you do not have experience, we’ll teach you how, that is part of the journey.
We want to involve everyone in the community, the whole village. All ages, any ability, everyone is welcome.
The project is part of Cove Park's Collective Home initiative which seeks to find out what ‘collective home’ means for people in Argyll.
The project will be led by Bafta winning director Kenny Glenaan.
First information meeting will take place in Centre 81, Old School Road, G84 0AT, on Wednesday 21st of October at 7.30pm.
