Nebraska African American and Diasporic Communities Health Summit

The Nebraska DHHS Office of Health Disparities, in collaboration with the Nebraska Commission on African American Affairs, is convening to hear directly from people closest to the experiences, strengths, challenges, and priorities of African American and Diasporic communities in Nebraska. The consultation will help identify health and social issues, barriers to health and well-being, and community perspectives that can inform future public health priorities, partnerships, and strategies. We are inviting African American and Diasporic community members, leaders, trusted messengers, faith leaders, community-based organizations, health and social service partners, educators, youth and family advocates, and organizations serving African immigrants and broader African diasporic communities. Participation may be limited to support meaningful discussion and strong community representation.
