Mandatory Reporting Duties, October 27: Join us to review mandatory reporting laws and how they interact with confidentiality provisions at most domestic violence agencies. This training will address what mandatory reporting is, who is considered a legally mandated reporter and what are they mandated to report, along with how core ethical commitments to client confidentiality provisions under VAWA, VOCA or FVSPA may impact reporting obligations. This is the first of two sessions focused on mandatory reporting. This registraion is for one or both sessions.
Mandatory Reporting & Disproportionate Harm of Black and Indigenous Families, October 29: This standalone training builds on the Mandatory Reporting Duties and Survivor Confidentiality training. Join us to gain a deeper understanding of the harmful impact of mandatory reporting requirements leading to structural racism and unequal outcomes for Black and Indigenous Families including immediate legal systems barriers and more long-term legal consequences. This is the second of two sessions focused on mandatory reporting. This registraion is for one or both sessions.
Cost: Free for End Domestic Abuse Wisconsin Program Members and Programs Funded by the WI Department of Children & Families or DOJ Office of Crime Victim Services/$50 for all others.
