ARTIST OBLIGATIONS AND AGREEMENTS

There is no fee to participate, but there is a limited number of spots available. We aim to create a cultural fest full of Kentucky artists showcasing our amazing talents to visitors from around the world in town for the Breeders' Cup!

Artist agrees to submit to the selection process and accept the results as regards to acceptance into the event. DLP is not obligated to honor requests for physical booth location within the festival. Artist will provide own equipment, and set up to the approval of DLP.

Each exhibitor is responsible for collecting and reporting Kentucky state sales tax in the amount of 6% of all sales. To obtain the proper Kentucky state sales tax forms, contact the Kentucky Department of Revenue, at 502-564-0889. A list of participating vendors from Mayfest will be forwarded to the Kentucky Department of Revenue following the event.

In consideration of being permitted to take part in Tandy Park Takeover, the Artist hereby releases, absolves, indemnifies, holds harmless and waives all claims against Breeders' Cup Festival, Downtown Lexington Partnership, Lexington-Fayette Urban County Government, their employees, and any other sponsors, for any losses or injuries of any kind whatsoever arising out of the operation of the Artist's booth or business.
