Background Information and Directions
Thank you for your commitment to ISOQOL and for participating in the Annual Conference Chair application process. Your contributions to the organization are greatly valued.

Please be advised that completing this application will require a significant investment of your time. We recommend reviewing the PDF copy of the application and drafting your responses in a Word document prior to starting the electronic submission process. However, please note that all applications must be submitted electronically through the web form.

The application is divided into two sections:

1.Candidate Application (a series of questions to be answered by each candidate)

2. Selection Questionnaire

The information you provide will assist the ISOQOL Co-Chair Task Force in identifying qualified individuals who are prepared for the responsibilities of the role.

ISOQOL seeks well-qualified candidates who:

·Are current members in good standing.

·Demonstrate a genuine interest in developing conference content.

·Have actively participated in ISOQOL activities.

·Possess specific goals for strengthening the ISOQOL Annual Conference program, making it the premier global conference for QOL research scientists, practitioners, advocates, and other stakeholders.

·Understand ISOQOL’s mission, values, and strategic direction.

·Are engaged with and have made significant contributions to the science of quality of life and related patient-centered outcomes in health research, care and policy.

·Are recognized leaders within the profession.

·Have established connections within the ISOQOL membership and related communities.

·Exhibit strong organizational skills, especially time management and responsiveness

·Have reviewed and agreed to the responsibilities assigned to conference co-chairs in the Annual Conference Charter.

·Acknowledge that attendance at meetings outside of normal working hours may be required due to the international composition of conference volunteers and speakers.

·Understand this is an intensive two-year commitment.

·Have reviewed the ISOQOL Conference Travel and Reimbursement policy and understand your responsibilities regarding Co-chair related travel.
