2026-27 Nippers Waitlist (U6–U11)

Submit your details to join the waitlist for Palm Beach Qld SLSC Nippers.
Our U6-U11 Nippers age groups have been incredibly popular for the 2026/27 season and are now at capacity with current resources.

The Nippers program is delivered by volunteers who help out each Saturday, keeping kids safe, supported and having fun. As our volunteer team grows, we may be able to open up additional places throughout the season.

To help us welcome more families into the program, priority for any places that become available will be given to families who can contribute in one of the following areas:

• Water Safety
• Age Manager
• Beach Setup
• General Nippers assistance
• BBQ support

We'll help you find the right fit.

Our most needed roles at Nippers are:

Tap In Help - A pool of people to help Saturday morning 7.15-8.15am to check kids into the session using their red bands.

BBQ / Raffle Leaders – One per age group is needed to coordinate the setup and running of the BBQ on their rostered day from 7.30am. Ensure there are volunteers available to sell raffle tickets during their allocated weekends. (Approx 4 weekends a season).

Beach Set-Up – Backstage crew 😊 6.30-7.15am Saturday. A group that enjoys the early sunrise, and sets up the beach equipment with assistance from the Junior Activities Coordinator and Water Safety Coordinator / Patrol Captain.

Roles where qualifications are required:

Age Manager – Online theory course. Assist the group leaders with delivering the education and skills for Nippers (https://lifesaving.com.au/junior-activities-centre/new-age-manager).

Water Safety (Nipper Safety Assistant, Surf Rescue Certificate or Bronze Medallion) - Swim and education required. The most fun role at nippers seeing the kids thrive and enjoy the water. https://lifesaving.com.au/junior-activities-centre/water-safety

Officials – Officiating at junior carnivals.
