🏕️ Before You Register... A Few Things to Know!
We want you to come into Camp Kindred with your eyes wide open (and your expectations set right), so take a sec to read through this before you sign up. It's a good time, we promise, but it's not for everyone, and that's okay!
This is not a resort. You will not be waited on hand and foot! Think cabin camping, not luxury getaway. We all pitch in, that means chores, cleanup, and a bit of a cooking rotation are part of the experience. If you're hoping for a spa weekend where everything is done for you, this might not be your vibe. But if you love the idea of everyone chipping in to make the weekend work, welcome home. 🙌
It's rustic, and it's at elevation. We're up in the mountains, so expect cooler temps, changing weather, and some physical activity. You'll be walking to and from cabins and the pavilion, and some activities will involve movement, nothing crazy, and you can always opt out of anything that's too much, but you do need to be able to get around camp on your own. If you have health considerations that might be affected by altitude or physical activity, please talk to your doctor before registering.
Please plan to be there for the whole thing. We ask that everyone commit to the full weekend rather than coming and going, since it makes planning activities, meals, and cabins really tough when numbers are shifting in and out. If something truly unforeseeable comes up (a funeral, sudden illness, etc.), reach out to us directly and we'll figure it out together, we just ask that arriving late or leaving early isn't the plan going in.
Come ready to make new friends, not just hang with who you came with. Camp Kindred is for all women, and our favorite thing is watching new friendships form. If you're coming with a friend group, we'd love for you to branch out too, sit somewhere new, strike up a conversation with someone you don't know yet. If you're coming solo, know that this is exactly the kind of place that's built for you. We want everyone to leave feeling like they found their people, not like they spent the weekend on the outside of someone else's circle.
This is not a religious camp. Camp Kindred isn't affiliated with any specific faith or church, and we welcome women of all beliefs (or none at all). You won't find religious programming here, just good people, good food, and good conversation. 💛
This is an alcohol, smoking, and drug free camp. No exceptions. We want everyone to feel safe and comfortable the whole weekend, so please leave this stuff at home.
Cell service may be spotty, and we're aiming to keep this a phone-free-ish weekend. Use your phone to check in with family or snap photos, that's totally fine! But we'd love for everyone to stay off their phones otherwise and just be present with each other. Half the magic of camp is unplugging for a few days.
We’ve Got the Camp Playlist Covered 🎶 We’ll have the camp soundtrack ready to go, so please leave personal speakers out of shared spaces and group activities. We want the music at Camp Kindred to feel fun, welcoming, and comfortable for everyone! You’re still welcome to enjoy your own playlists privately with headphones.
A note on infants. Camp Kindred is designed as a weekend for adult women, and we don't advertise it as baby-friendly. That said, on rare occasions an organizer or attendee may bring a babes-in-arms nursing infant, this is approved case by case and is not the norm. Any infant present is non-mobile (no crawling or walking), stays with their own parent, and has a separate sleeping space away from the main cabins so it doesn't affect your experience. If having zero possibility of a baby at camp is a dealbreaker for you, this is worth knowing before you register.
No dogs, animals, or pets of any kind, please. As much as we love our furry friends, this one's not for them, both because of camp policy and because it just makes things easier for everyone. Please plan to leave pets at home.
Parking and Carpooling 🚗 Spots up at camp (and parking!) are limited, so carpooling is part of the plan. Don't stress about figuring out logistics on your own, as we get closer to camp, we'll help coordinate carpools amongst campers so everyone has a ride and it's totally seamless. If you have a legitimate reason carpooling won't work for you (a medical need, etc.), just give us a shout and we'll sort it out. Otherwise, buckle up, it's more fun with company anyway!
What's included: Lodging, meals, activities, and your camp swag are all covered in your registration cost, including our 24/7 soda station.
Payment and refunds: Early-bird registration is $295 and requires a $100 nonrefundable deposit. Use promo code EARLYBIRD at checkout to receive the discounted price. Early-bird pricing is available until spots fill or December 31, whichever comes first.
Regular registration is $325 and requires a $130 nonrefundable deposit. Regular pricing begins January 1—or sooner if all early-bird spots are claimed. All remaining balances are due by March 1, 2027.
Spots cannot be resold or transferred. So much of what you receive (apparel, swag, name-personalized items) is custom-made for you, so tickets aren't transferable to another person. If you can no longer attend, please reach out to us directly to talk through options.
Registration closes March 1st, or when we hit capacity, whichever comes first. Once we're full, we're full! We'll keep a waitlist if that happens.
By registering, you're confirming you've read and understood all of the above. Can't wait to see you at camp! 🌲
