    RMR Wealth Builders, Inc. is seeking a Trading & Reporting Specialist to join our Investment Management team in our Scottsdale office.


    This is an early-career opportunity for someone interested in developing experience in investment management, trading, portfolio reporting, and wealth management. The Trading & Reporting Specialist will support the day-to-day management of client portfolios through trade execution, account monitoring and rebalancing, investment and performance reporting, data management, and investment research.


    This individual will work closely with members of our Investment Management team and gain hands-on exposure to the firm's investment strategies, model portfolios, trading processes, and Investment Committee.


    We are not looking for an experienced trader or investment professional. Candidates may be new to the industry or have approximately 1–3 years of relevant experience. Prior securities licensing is welcomed but is not required at the time of hire.

    • The right person for this position does not need to arrive as an experienced trader. We are looking for someone with the aptitude and interest of becoming a strong member of our Investment Management team.

      You are naturally analytical and detail-oriented, comfortable working with numbers and data, and willing to dig into something when it does not look right. You understand that accuracy is critical when working with client accounts and investments and take ownership of seeing tasks through to completion.

      As you develop in the role, you will gain greater exposure to trading, portfolio management, investment research, reporting, and the firm's overall investment process, with opportunities to take on additional responsibility as your knowledge and experience grow.

    • What You'll Do 
    • Trading & Portfolio Management Support

      • Execute trade instructions in client accounts and assist with block trades related to investment strategy and model changes.
      • Monitor client accounts and assist with portfolio rebalancing, cash management, and investment allocation needs.
      • Monitor trading systems and workflows to ensure trades and related activity are processed accurately.
      • Review trading activity and assist with identifying and resolving discrepancies.
      • Help maintain the accuracy of client and portfolio data across the firm's trading, reporting, and CRM systems.
      • Build and maintain investment allocations for retirement plan participants and other customized portfolio situations.
      • Assist advisors and internal team members with ad hoc requests related to client accounts and investment portfolios.
      • Work with custodians and internal teams to research and resolve account-related issues.
      • Identify opportunities to improve trading and operational workflows as the firm continues to grow.

      Reporting & Data

      • Generate and review investment and portfolio performance reports.
      • Assist with data reconciliation and quality-control processes to ensure investment and account information is complete and accurate.
      • Maintain accurate data within the firm's trading, reporting, and CRM systems.
      • Support recurring and ad hoc reporting needs for advisors, the Investment Management team, and other areas of the firm.
      • Investigate discrepancies in portfolio, performance, or account data and work with the appropriate parties to resolve them.

      Investment Research

      • Assist with research and due diligence across a range of investments and markets, including equities, fixed income, funds, alternative investments, and other investment strategies utilized by the firm.
      • Compile research and due diligence materials on securities, funds, markets, and investment strategies.
      • Assist with the preparation of Investment Committee materials and presentations.
      • Participate in Investment Committee meetings and gain exposure to the firm's process for developing and managing its investment philosophy and strategies.
      • Support investment-related content and communications, including market commentary, newsletters, presentations, and other materials as needed.
    • Qualifications 
    • Required

      • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, Business, or a related field preferred; relevant professional experience, training, or certifications may be considered in place of a degree.
      • 0–3 years of experience in financial services, wealth management, investment operations, trading, reporting, or a related field.
      • Interest in investment management, financial markets, and wealth management.
      • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
      • High level of attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.

      Preferred

      • Securities industry licensing (or willingness to obtain).
      • Proficiency with Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
      • Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
      • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-moving environment.
      • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
      • Ability to work collaboratively while also taking ownership of assigned responsibilities.
      • Willingness to learn, ask questions, and develop technical knowledge over time.

    • Compensation

      Competitive salary with eligibility for Individual Performance Bonuses and Company Performance Bonuses.

      • Base Salary: $60,000 - $80,000 (Dependent on experience and qualifications).
      • Individual and company performance-based bonuses may be awarded at management's discretion.
