Service Club Council of Cornwall and Area Santa Claus Parade Registration

RELEASE OF LIABILITY AGREEMENT
 

The undersigned participant, organization, group hereby agrees to INDEMNIFY and forever HOLD HARMLESS the Santa Claus Parade Committee and/or the Corporation of the City of Cornwall, its officers, employees and agents, from and against any and all claims, demands, suits, costs and expenses including legal fees, actions, causes of actions and/or proceedings, that may be brought against or made upon the Santa Claus Parade Committee and or the Corporation of the City of Cornwall, its servants, employees or agents by any person or persons in which the claims, demands, suits, actions causes of actions and/or proceedings may result from, arise from, be contributed to and/or be, in any way related to any act, failure to act or otherwise of the participant, organization, group and/or their officers, servants and agents in respect of and/or pertaining to the Santa Claus parade event unless the incident or injuries are occasioned by the Santa Claus Parade Committee and/or the Corporation of the City of Cornwall or those for whom it is in law responsible.

In addition, the undersigned also agrees to Indemnify and Hold Harmless the Santa Claus Parade Committee and/or the Corporation of the City of Cornwall from any and all vehicle damage of any nature arising out of use of any automobile(s) and/or vehicle(s) in the Santa Claus Parade.

NOTE:  It is a requirement of Ontario Law that all licensed vehicles be insured under an owned Automobile Insurance.

YourTV invites you to provide a brief script for your float or parade entry (approximately 35 seconds maximum). This information will be provided to the on-air hosts for use during YourTV’s coverage of this year’s parade.

Submission Guidelines

• The description should focus on the theme and highlights of your entry. You may also include details such as the number of years your organization has participated in the parade or any awards or special recognition received.
• Please write your description in the third person, as though it is being read by a parade commentator.
• Please conclude your description with a Christmas greeting.
• Promotional or sales messages are not permitted. Any promotional content may be edited or removed.
• Due to broadcast preparation requirements, YourTV cannot guarantee that descriptions received after the deadline will be included in the broadcast.
• YourTV reserves the right to review and edit all submissions for content, clarity, and length.
• This form is the only accepted method of submission. Please do not mail, email, or fax your description to YourTV.

It’s a Sesame Street Christmas from Cornwall Electric. Here come the characters from Sesame Street – Cookie Monster, Bert & Ernie, The Count, Elmo, Oscar the Grouch and Big Bird – all waving to the crowd from their bucket truck, decorated with hundreds of energy-efficient LED bulbs. Thanks to the hard work and festive spirit of their employees, this is the 10th year that Cornwall Electric has participated in the Santa Claus Parade. They would like to wish everyone a safe and energy-efficient holiday season!
