DEADLINE TO SUBMIT: October 30, 2026, 11:45pm.

Please read the following carefully. Complete this form to include all artwork that will be for sale in Holiday Treasures. Please prioritize work that has not been shown at previous Holiday Treasures exhibitions or at MCAC in the last two years (especially painting, 2D, works on paper etc. For jewelry, soaps, scarfs, and ornaments this is less important). When pricing your work, know that what has sold best in previous exhibitions was priced under $400.

For each artwork, please complete all fields and give each item a unique name. The information you enter here will be exported as is into our sales and labeling system. Innacurate or missing information will interfere with this process. Labels will be made based on the information in this form so please double-check before you submit. Submissions should be limited to one form. NO AI work will be accepted!

Item Limit: 5 items for artwork, 10 items for Jewelry/Products.

ALL 2D pieces must be wired upon drop-off! Works that are not correctly wired or are otherwise not installation ready will NOT be included in the exhibition. Please contact amy@mcac.org or maddy@mcac.org if you have any questions about the installation readiness of your work.

Drop off days for work:
Regular business hours October 15 - November 6. Artwork dropped off after the 6th will be turned away. Earlier accommodations can be made by contacting Amy or Maddy. Artwork pickup is January 4 - January 30.

Please make sure your work is appropriately labeled (Name, Title, Price).

Holiday Treasures runs from Nov. 13-Dec. 30. The opening reception will be Nov. 13, 5-7pm.

By submitting this form, you agree to the following:

1.    MCAC, in its sole discretion, may accept or reject any of Artist’s work that is submitted for sale, promotion, or display.  

2.    Artist certifies that any and all work consigned to MCAC was executed solely by Artist and is original, and handmade.  Edition of photographs and prints are acceptable. Absolutely NO AI will be accepted!

3.       Artist warrants, covenants and agrees that the Artist’s work being consigned/displayed/sold is owned by Artist and that there are no liens, judgments or other encumbrances against the work, including all right of sale or transfer of the consigned work.  The parties agree that title to the work shall remain in Artist until such consignment is sold.

4.     Artist agrees to provide MCAC the value of any and all work whether for sale or not for sale for insurance purposes.

5.    MCAC, at its sole discretion, may use the Artist’s consigned works for promotional purposes such as brochures, newspapers, radio or television programs, software, web pages, videos, or other media or for exhibitions on or off the premises of the Center. In such instances, Artist will be named and credited as much as possible.

6.    MCAC shall pay Artist for all work sold within 30 days of the close of the Exhibition or Display. No sales on approval, credit, or installment shall be made without consent of MCAC staff and/or Artist. In such instances, all proceeds received by MCAC shall be paid to Artist until Artist’s share of the sales price is paid in full. No commission checks under $2.00 will be issued. Commissions under $2.00 will be added to the commissions of the following month’s sales until at least $2.00 has accrued.

7.    The risk of unintentional loss or devastation of the Artist’s consigned work while in the possession of MCAC shall be borne by Artist.  MCAC shall have no liability to Artist as a bailee or otherwise with respect to Artists’ consigned work apart from any damages that may be directly and proximately caused exclusively by MCAC’s gross negligence or MCAC’s intentional damage to, or destruction of, Artist’s consigned work.  It shall be the responsibility of Artist to sufficiently insure the consigned work at its own cost, for the benefit and in the name of Artist. MCAC shall maintain only a physical damage insurance policy. If Artist’s work should be damaged and such damage is covered under MCAC’s policy, then MCAC will reimburse Artist for the retail value of the work less MCAC’s 30% commission, or if a claim is filed, to the extent of MCAC’s recovery from the policy.  MCAC shall not be liable for any damage to Artist’s work that is displayed on the ground or work that is extremely fragile, precarious in nature, or not prepared by Artist to be securely displayed by hanging.

8    All work covered in this agreement shall be listed on a Consignment Form when the work is submitted to MCAC. A copy of the Form will be given to Artist. The stated price on the Consignment Form will be retail, which includes MCAC’s 30% commission.

9.    MCAC shall maintain accurate records regarding all artwork submitted by Artist. On written request, MCAC shall permit Artist or Artist’s authorized representative to examine the records during MCAC’s normal business hours.

10.    Either party may cancel this Agreement by giving a 30-day written notice to the other party to cancel.  If either party should cancel this Agreement, Artist shall remove their work from McLean County Arts Center located at 601 N. East St, Bloomington, IL within 30 days after notification. Any of Artist’s work left at MCAC following the 30-day notification period shall become the property of MCAC.  MCAC may dispose, sell, donate, or discard any and all of the work, however it so desires.

11.    Artist is responsible for transporting their work to and from McLean County Arts Center located at 601 N. East St, Bloomington, IL. Artist agrees to make an appointment with MCAC to retrieve their work within 7 days of the close of the Exhibition. Any work left after 30 days of a closed Exhibit shall be deemed “abandoned” and shall become property of MCAC.  MCAC may dispose, sell, donate, or discard any and all of the work, however it so desires.
