Artists are essential to the cultural and economic life of our communities, but building a sustainable creative career takes more than talent. It also takes business knowledge, professional connections, resources, and opportunities.
Creative Futures / Futuros Creativos is an artist entrepreneurship accelerator created by We Art One Artist Collective with support from the LUCHA Equity Fund, awarded and administered by Hispanic Federation. The program helps emerging and mid-career artists build the skills, confidence, and professional foundation needed to grow sustainable creative careers.
Through workshops, mentorship, networking, exhibitions, and artist microgrants, participants will gain practical tools to earn income from their work and grow as creative entrepreneurs.
New York-based visual artists are encouraged to apply. Priority will be given to artists in Yonkers, the Bronx, Westchester County, and the Lower Hudson Valley, particularly Latinx, bilingual, immigrant, BIPOC, and other historically underrepresented creatives.
