• Glisten Cincinnati Student Council

  • Complete this application to apply for the new Glisten Ohio: Greater Cincinnati Student Council! The Council will be an opportunity for middle-school and high-school students ages 14+ to develop leadership skills and to advocate for LGBTQ+ rights and inclusivity in schools. Glisten Cincinnati is looking to recruit 10-15 individuals from Greater Cincinnati and Northern Kentucky to join the inaugural Student Council.

    Key Responsibilities
    Student Council members will:
    - meet 2x a month on Tuesday evenings at Youth At The Center office Downtown Cincinnati 
    - Plan and regularly attend Monthly Events for LGBTQ+ and Supportive Youth
    - Create social media content and marketing materials to promote events
    - Develop skills to advocate for inclusive school policies at local school boards and statewide level
    - Engage with youth throughout Greater Cincinnati and Northern Kentucky
    - Learn to work collaboratively with Student Council members and Community Members


    Term & Compensation
    Glisten Cincinnati Student Council Members will serve until Pride season in June 2027. Student Council Members will recieve a quarterly stipend/honorarium for their participation.
