CONTESTANT AGREEMENT & RELEASE
By signing this entry form, I confirm that I have read, understand, and agree to all rules, policies, and requirements of this pageant and give permission for myself, or my minor child, to participate.
Fees: All fees are non-refundable and non-transferable. Fees may not be transferred to another contestant or applied to another event.
Liability: I release and hold harmless Layne Productions LLC, AmeriFest LLC, judges, staff, volunteers, venues, and affiliated parties from responsibility for accidents, illness, injury, loss, theft, or other incidents occurring while traveling to, from, or participating in the event.
Photos & Media: I authorize photos and videos submitted or taken during the event to be used for promotional purposes, including websites, social media, print, and advertising.
Divisions & Awards: Age divisions with two or fewer contestants may be combined. Gifts and prizes may be substituted with items of equal or greater value.
Eligibility & Accuracy: I certify that all information provided, including age and residency, is true and accurate. Proof of age may be required. False or misleading information may result in disqualification and/or forfeiture of titles and awards.
Teen/Miss Winners: Teen or Miss titleholders who marry or become pregnant during their reign must relinquish their title and duties. The next eligible titleholder may assume the title and complete the reign.
Conduct: Contestants and family members are expected to demonstrate good sportsmanship. Poor sportsmanship or inappropriate conduct may result in disqualification, forfeiture of titles/prizes, and/or loss of eligibility to participate in future AmeriFest events. The next eligible titleholder may complete the reign.
Dressing Areas: Contestants age 18+ may not have another person in the dressing area with them. Contestants age 17 and under and STAR contestants may have one female assistant present.
Additional Terms: Judges’ decisions are final. Layne Productions LLC and AmeriFest LLC are not responsible for lost or stolen property. Applicable Ohio sales tax is included in charges. Winners are responsible for any personal tax obligations associated with prizes or gifts received.
