Assisting with the Barbados Breast Cancer Pink Ribbon Drive to raise funds for Mamagrams and other valuable assistance to ALL Barbadian Women through the Barbados Cancer Society. Please fill in the required information and select 1 or more time slots to assist. Requesting 3 volunteers per shift. If a time slot is NOT showing available (if I've done what I needed to do to make sure the form shows only the available time slots), it has already been taken by 3 other volunteers. What do we do for the Pink Ribbon. We ask persons for a donation and also advise them why we are there.. Raising money for the Breast Screen Program of the Barbados Concer Society. They can donate whatever amount of money they wish and place it in the Pink paper wrapped tins on the table (we can help them put in bills in the tins if they have them.. sometimes the slits in the tins aren't big enough for bills to go in). AND we then "pin" them with a pink ribbon on the collar or top of their shirt. some will simply want to take the ribbon and pin home. Please thank them for their donation. (the guys will donate but may not accept the ribbon.. simply say to them.... "Real Men Wear Pink" and that usually gets them to let you pin one on their collar..
