Mana Up is a community-based kōrero led by Pio Terei, funded by the Wright Family Foundation, in association with The Village NZ, that uses honest stories, humour, cultural connection, and practical tools to inspire positive change. It helps people better understand themselves, manage emotions, strengthen relationships, and reconnect with their whānau and culture.
Mana Up is for everyone, with a particular focus on whānau experiencing trauma, addiction, loss, disconnection, or involvement with the justice system. By creating a safe, relatable and culturally grounded space, Mana Up aims to build hope, connection, resilience, and healthier futures.
