• The Over-Giver’s Audit

Are you giving, doing, and holding more than is actually yours?
  • You’re capable.

    Responsible.

The one people can count on.

You know how to get things done.

You notice what needs to be handled before anyone asks.

You can keep going when you’re exhausted, put your own feelings aside when someone else needs you, and somehow make everything look fine from the outside.

But sometimes being “the strong one” comes at a cost.

Because when you’ve spent years learning to manage everything around you, you can become so disconnected from yourself that you don’t even realize how often you’re overriding your own needs.

You may call it being caring.

Or responsible. Or independent. Or just “how life is.”

But underneath it can be a pattern of self-abandonment...leaving yourself out of the equation in order to feel safe, needed, loved, in control, or at peace.

This quick quiz is an invitation to notice.

There are no right or wrong answers.

Check every statement that feels true for you, especially if it’s been true for you repeatedly.
