📍 South Holland Community Center
Our trainings provide families with practical tools, education, and strategies to support healthy development, communication, emotional wellness, and positive decision-making. This training is open to the public, and we welcome all community members to attend.
For our upcoming Bullying Prevention Training, families will learn how to recognize and respond to different forms of bullying while gaining practical strategies to help create safe, supportive, and respectful environments at home, at school, and in the community.
What We’ll Cover:
Recognizing Bullying: Learn the different forms bullying can take, including verbal, social, physical, and online behaviors.
Responding Safely: Understand how to respond when bullying occurs and when to seek support from a trusted adult.
Speaking Up: Explore appropriate ways participants can advocate for themselves and others.
Supporting Others: Learn how families can encourage empathy, respect, inclusion, and positive peer relationships.
Creating Safe Environments: Gain strategies for helping children and teens feel supported, heard, and empowered to make positive decisions.
This training is an opportunity for parents and participants to learn together, ask questions, and build practical skills that can be used beyond the classroom.
We look forward to seeing our MGE families on October 13th at 7:00 PM!
Warmly,
