    💻 VIRTUAL WORKSHOP

Our trainings provide families with practical tools, education, and strategies to support healthy development, communication, emotional wellness, and positive decision-making. This training is open to the public, and we welcome all community members to attend.

For our upcoming Drug Use & Awareness Workshop, parents and participants will engage in an age-appropriate conversation about substance use, prevention, healthy choices, and recognizing situations that may require additional support.

    What We’ll Cover:
Understanding Substance Use: Learn age-appropriate information about substance use and how it can affect young people.

Prevention & Awareness: Discuss protective factors and strategies that can help young people make informed and healthy choices.

Healthy Decision-Making: Explore ways to evaluate situations, consider consequences, and make choices that support personal goals and well-being.

Recognizing Warning Signs: Learn to recognize behavioral or situational changes that may indicate a young person is struggling or could benefit from additional support.

Handling Peer Pressure: Discuss how to respond confidently when faced with pressure or situations involving substances.

Starting Healthy Conversations: Explore ways parents and participants can communicate openly and honestly about substance use without judgment.
This virtual workshop provides a safe, age-appropriate space for parents and participants to learn, ask questions, and build practical tools for making healthy decisions and navigating challenging situations.

We look forward to connecting with our MGE families virtually on February 9th at 7:00 PM!

    Warmly,
