Student AVMA Member Photo Contest – Official Rules
NO PURCHASE NECESSARY TO ENTER OR WIN. A PURCHASE DOES NOT INCREASE OR IMPROVE YOUR CHANCE OF WINNING. THE ODDS OF WINNING DEPEND UPON THE NUMBER OF ELIGIBLE ENTRIES RECEIVED DURING THE CONTEST PERIOD.
CONTEST DISCRIPTION: Contest begins 12:00 A.M. Pacific Time (PT) Thursday, October 8, 2026 and ends at 12:59 P.M. Pacific Time (PT) on Monday, October 19, 2026 ("Contest Period")
CATERGORIES: Students are asked to provide photos of themselves and their favorite animal from the clinic, farm, lab, rotations, or anywhere in between. Photos must not include images of people other than the person submitting the photo.
AGREEMENT TO THE OFFICIAL RULES: By participating in the Contest, each Entrant fully and unconditionally agrees to and accepts these Official Rules and the decisions of the Sponsor, which are final and binding in all matters related to the Contest. Winning any prize is contingent upon fulfilling all requirements set forth herein.
ELIGIBILITY: This Contest is offered to Student AVMA members who are legal residents of the United States and the District of Columbia (“U.S.”), Puerto Rico, U.S. Virgin Islands, Guam, who are at least eighteen (18) years of age on the date of the submission (“Entrant”). Employees, directors and officers, and their immediate families (spouses and siblings, parents and children and their spouses) and household members of Sponsor (defined below), and their respective subsidiaries and affiliates, brokers, insurers, and companies involved in the implementation and execution of the Contest (collectively the "Contest Entities") are not eligible. Submissions that do not comply with these official rules are not eligible. Void where prohibited or restricted by law. The contest is subject to all applicable federal, state, and local laws and regulations.
SPONSOR: AVMA Insurance Services, LLC (the “Sponsor”).
HOW TO ENTER: To enter the Contest, upload your photo(s) and required release form at www.jotform.com/262604847642058 by 12:59 P.M. Pacific Time (PT) on Monday, October 19, 2026. There is no limit on entries per entrant that can be submitted during the contest entry period. Non-electronic submissions are accepted by mailing your photo(s) to AVMA Administrative Services, LLC, Attn: Marketing Department, 1931 N. Meacham Road, Suite 106, Schaumburg, Illinois 60173. Mailed entries must be postmarked on or before Monday, October 19, 2026.
ENTRANTS PERSONAL INFORMATION: Participation in the contest requires the collection of your name, email address, and social media handles. By entering this contest, you are consenting to the use of your name and email address for further communications regarding this contest. Information collected from Entrants is subject to the Privacy Policy which can be found at https://avmainsuranceservices.com/privacy-policy/.
By participating, entrants agree to:
- Irrevocably grant to Sponsor a non-exclusive license to distribute, make copies, alter, modify, add text to, make derivative works from, use, manufacture, reproduce, market, sell, and otherwise exploit in any manner or media for any purpose whatsoever, the entrant’s photos throughout the world without any royalty or payment obligations for a period of five (5) years without compensation, notification, or permission, except where prohibited by law.
- Be bound by the official rules and the decisions of the person or persons who select the winners.
- Release, indemnify, defend and hold harmless the Sponsor, its respective subsidiaries, affiliates, directors, officers, employees, attorneys, agents and representatives, from any and all third party liability for any injuries, loss, claim, action, demand or damage of any kind arising from or in connection with the Contest (collectively, "Losses"), including without limitation any third party claim for copyright infringement or a violation of an individual’s right to privacy and/or publicity right.
- Provide upload high resolution photos of at least 1MB or larger in JPEG or PNG formats only.
- Be responsible for ensuring that they have the right to submit the photos to the Contest per these rules.
WINNER SELECTION: Three (3) Prize winners will be selected on or after October 26, 2026 from among all eligible entries received. Entrants may not win more than one prize. The potential Winners will be notified by email. Winning submissions will be announced on AVMA Insurance Services’ website and social channels on or after October 27, 2026, and only after all winners have been contacted and confirmed acceptance of the contest rules and prizes. Failure of the potential Winner to respond to the email notification within 10 days may cause the prize to be forfeited and awarded to an alternate as solely determined by Sponsor. If a prize is refused, a prize notification is returned or deemed undeliverable, or the potential winner is disqualified for any reason, an alternate winner will be selected via a random drawing. The odds of winning depend upon the number of Entries received during the Contest Period.
THE PRIZE: Sponsor will select 3 winners from all eligible submissions, for a total of $850.00 in Amazon Gift Card prizes.
- First Prize = one $500 Amazon Gift Card
- Second Prize = one $250 Amazon Gift Card
- Third Prize = one $100 Amazon Gift Card
Winners are responsible for the payment of federal, state and local taxes on the prize and for any other expenses not specified. No substitutions or transfer of prizes permitted except at the sole discretion of the Sponsor. Odds of winning are dependent on the number of entries.
GENERAL CONDITIONS/RELEASE: By participating, Entrant (a) agrees to release Contest Entities, their respective directors, officers, agents and employees from any and all liability for any claims, costs, injuries, losses or damages of any kind caused by (i) Entrant’s participation, including the unauthorized or illegal access to personally identifiable or sensitive information or the acceptance, possession, use, or misuse of the prize; (ii) any Contest Entities sponsorship or administration of the Contest; and (iii) Entrant’s and/or any third party’s use, sale or disposal of the prize; and (b) acknowledges that said parties have neither made nor are in any manner responsible or liable for any warranty, representation or guarantee, expressed or implied, in fact or in law, relative to the prize (any written warranty by the manufacturer concerning the prize will be provided along with the prize). Neither Contest Entities nor any service providers are responsible for incorrect or inaccurate transcription of Entry information, or for any human or other error, technical malfunctions, lost/delayed data or voice transmission, omission, interruption, deletion, defect, line failures of any telephone network, computer equipment, software, inability to access any online service or Website or to complete a telephone call or facsimile transaction, or any other error or malfunction, or late, lost or misdirected mail, or any injury or damage to participant’s or any other person’s computer related to or resulting from participation in this Contest. CAUTION: ANY ATTEMPT BY AN ENTRANT OR ANY OTHER INDIVIDUAL TO DELIBERATELY DAMAGE ANY WEBSITE, TAMPER WITH THE ENTRY PROCESS, OR OTHERWISE UNDERMINE THE LEGITIMATE OPERATION OF THE CONTEST MAY BE A VIOLATION OF CRIMINAL AND CIVIL LAWS AND SHOULD SUCH AN ATTEMPT BE MADE, SPONSOR RESERVES THE RIGHT TO COOPERATE IN THE PROSECUTION OF ANY SUCH INDIVIDUAL(S) AND TO PURSUE ALL REMEDIES TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW. Failure to enforce any term of these Official Rules shall not constitute a waiver of that provision. If for any reason the Contest is not capable of being executed as planned, or infection by computer virus, bugs, tampering, unauthorized intervention, fraud, action of Entrants, technical failures or any other causes which in the opinion of Sponsor, corrupt or affect the administration, security, fairness, integrity, or proper conduct of this Contest, Sponsor reserves the right at its sole discretion to disqualify any suspect Entry or Entrant and/or to cancel, terminate, modify or suspend the Contest. In the event of any cancellation, termination, or suspension, notice thereof will be posted at avmainsuranceservices.com. If the Sponsor decides to reconvene the Contest after a suspension, the determination of the prize winner will be made from among all eligible, non-suspect Entries received as of the date of the suspension, as Sponsor determines in its sole discretion. Entries not complying with all rules are subject to disqualification
