  • HOW THIS FORM WORKS.

    • You do not have to finish in one sitting. At the bottom of every page there is a Save button beside Next. It stores everything you have entered, including uploaded images.
    • Saving gives you a return link, and there are two ways to get it — it is emailed to you automatically, and you can also click Get Draft Link to copy it. They are the same link. Keep it somewhere you will find it: that link is how you get back into your draft.
    • A saved draft is not a submission, and you are not charged the $27.50 until you actually submit.
    • Please Note: Drafts can expire after a stretch of inactivity (usually 30 days).

    Five things you should know if your work is selected.  Please read and acknowledge them.  Then let us know how many pieces you'd like us to consider.

  • Image Policy

    • If accepted, Powell Lane Arts references, links to and uses professional images from your website and social media to promote the show.
    • Your title and copyright stay yours. Powell Lane Arts obeys all title and copyright claims.

  • Edition Policy

    • Editioned work, and pieces made in multiples, must be from a limited edition.
    • The edition must be signed and numbered.
    • Open and unlimited editions are not accepted.

  • Protective Covering Policy

    • Any sensitive surface needs a protective covering. The usual cases are works on or containing paper — drawings, watercolors, prints, photographs, collage — and anything friable, like gouache, pastel or chalk, charcoal and graphite.
    • Under glass, the covering must be glass or Plexiglas. Acetate and vellum are not accepted.
    • Resin or varnish on an adhered board is an equivalent measure. A surface sealed that way does not also need to go under glass.
    • The exception is work where the degradation of the surface is the point of the piece.

  • Sale Policy

    • All work must be for sale.
    • Decisions are made on the work you submit. If an accepted piece sells before delivery it is rescinded — it comes out of the show and is not replaced.
    • Tell us as soon as possible if a piece sells.
    • Editioned work is the exception: another piece from the same edition may stand in.
    • No other substitutions are accepted.

  • Privacy and Messaging

    • Our Privacy Policy applies to everything you submit here.
    • Our Messaging Terms and Conditions cover any texts we send you about your submission, delivery or pick-up.
