The people say NO to data centers in San Francisco! Today, September 18th, Nestory Park Capital announced plans to build a data center at 1215 Michigan Street, in the Dogpatch neighborhood. It would occupy 160,000 square feet, or nearly four acres near San Francisco’s waterfront
The billionaires are trying to build data centers everywhere they can. They want to make billions by building the infrastructure of AI, regardless of the toxic pollution and contaminated water data centers bring to communities across the country.
Technology is not the problem. The question is who has the power to decide how this technology is used: the tech billionaires or ordinary people.
