  • Catrinas Festival Canada 2026 is a two-day celebration! While Sunday, October 25th, focuses on children (catrincitos), catrinas and catrines of all ages are welcome to join us in costume. We’ll also be taking photos and videos with you! Will you be joining us on Sunday?*
  • If you selected “Catrina Kids,” our children’s event will take place on Sunday, October 25th. Parade preparations begin at 2:00 PM, and the Kids’ Parade starts at 3:00 PM. You’re welcome to arrive earlier to enjoy the festival and share special moments with us! Will you be joining us?

    Event Schedule

    • Saturday: 11:00 am to 8:00 pm (The Catrina parade starts on Saturday at 5 p.m.)
    • Sunday: 11:00 am to 6:00 pm

    Participation

    • Registration must be completed in advance through the official form.
    • Categories include: Catrina, Catrín, Familia Catrina, Mascota, and Catrina Kids - Catrincitos.
    • If “Familia Catrina” is selected, the total number of participants must be provided.

    Costume & Safety

    • Participants are responsible for their own costumes unless otherwise arranged with the festival.
    • Costumes must be respectful, safe, and suitable for a family-friendly event.
    • The festival may refuse participation if costumes or behavior are considered inappropriate.

    Media & Consent

    • By participating, attendees agree that photos and videos may be taken during the event.
    • These images may be used on the festival’s website, social media, or promotional materials.

    Prizes & Recognition

    • If prizes or recognitions are available, participants may be contacted directly by the organizing team.
