FBLC Seaquam Overview

This year, FBLCS is offering 3 different positions for students.

Training Coordinators

Responsible for planning and executing training sessions, workshops, and seminars for chapter members. Possesses strong communication and teaching abilities. The topics you will train will be delegated following the application process.

Executive Assistants

Responsible for assisting and supporting the FBLCS Executive Team with their tasks, floating between executive departments. Good communication skills are essential.

General Members

The general members of this chapter. Responsible for showing up, attending meetings, and participating in events and initiatives, possibly competing in CNLC this school year. You may also apply during the club fair.

Thank you for choosing FBLC! We aim to help streamline and improve your business skills and experiences. If you aren't interested in business, no worries! Many of the skills you learn in this club are transferrable such as public speaking, analysis, and more.

Around late-February to early-March, we host a national business competition named the Canadian National Leadership Conference (CNLC) or the Canadian Junior Leadership Conference (CJLC) for grade 8s. This competition includes 19 different events such as Accounting, Business Law, Healthcare Administration, Personal Finance, and more. As a collective, we will decide which 2 or 3 events to focus on this school year.

Attendance is optional, however we do hope that you attend. Otherwise, enjoy workshops and events from the comfort of your own school!

Please show up to our booth during the club fair during collab and lunch on Wednesday, September 23rd, and lunch and after school on Thursday, September 24th. Meetings will be every Monday in room 2113!
