Thank you for your interest in attending Cleveland Writes Songwriting Session & Showcase! This event is open to all writers, singers, musicians, and producers in the Cleveland & NE Ohio area - come collaborate with other creatives in a supportive, community-centered environment and perform the songs you write that SAME NIGHT!

Cleveland Writes is hosting its next session at Breakthrough Sounds Recording Studio, 7615 Granger Rd, Valley View, OH. *Spots are limited*.

This is your opportunity to:

***BEFORE YOU COMPLETE THIS FORM, COMPLETE THE FOLLOWING STEPS FIRST:

- Sign your Participation Agreement - HERE
- Sign up for a P.R.O. (Performance Rights Organization). You'll need to have your IPI number ready for the session.

In this session, participants will be placed into a group and given time to write a song together, collaborate, and record a skeleton version of their song (into a DAW or on their phone). Groups will be strategically assigned to encourage new connections and collaboration. At the end of the night, all groups will perform their songs for everyone at the songwriting showcase.

Date & Time: Monday, October 19, 2026 | 6:00 PM (Check-in begins at 6PM; *doors will officially close at 6:40PM*. After this time, we can't accommodate late writers. You can write at a future event or come to the showcase at 9:30PM. Please reach out to us directly if you have an emergency.)

IMPORTANT NOTES FOR PARTICIPANTS

• Instrumentalists: Please bring your own instruments/midi instruments (There will be keyboards and pianos provided.) If you need amplification, bring a small personal amp.

• All participants: Please bring your laptop, hard drive, and any DAW/software you use (Logic, Pro Tools, GarageBand, Ableton, etc.) so you can document and record your work in real time during the session. If you don't have these items, your cell phone is fine to record.
