2026 FMC-EngGeoMB Bursary Awards

Each awardee will receive $500 in November 2026
Deadline for submission is on November 8, 2026.

Criteria for Eligibility: Manitoba Newcomers
- Must be a new immigrant in Canada, specifically in the province of Manitoba, for less than a year and has no intention to move to another province for at least two years
- Must be a member of Filipino Members Chapter - Engineers Geoscientists Manitoba
- Must be an internationally-trained Engineer or Geoscientist who has completed at minimum a bachelor’s degree program
- Must be of Filipino descent
- Must submit latest resume
Criteria for Eligibility: Member-in-Training Applicants
- Has the intention to be an intern member of Engineers Geoscientists Manitoba
- Must be a member of Filipino Members Chapter - Engineers Geoscientists Manitoba
- Must be of Filipino descent
- Graduate in Engineering or Geoscience from a Canadian University or
- Must have a Credential Authentication from World Education Services (WES)
- Must submit latest resume
- Must demonstrate active participation for volunteering in the community
Criteria for Eligibility: 30 by 30 (Women in Engineering or Geoscience)
- Must be a woman of Filipino descent
- Must be a member of Filipino Members Chapter - Engineers Geoscientists Manitoba and/or of Engineers Geoscientists Manitoba
- Graduate in Engineering or Geoscience from a Canadian University or
- Must have a Credential Authentication from World Education Services (WES)
- Must submit latest resume
- Must demonstrate active participation for volunteering in the community
Criteria for Eligibility: Road to P. Eng or P. Geo
- Must be a Filipino descent
- Must be a member of Filipino Members Chapter - Engineers Geoscientists Manitoba
- Must be a Member-in-Training of Engineers Geoscientists Manitoba
- Must submit a latest resume
- Must demonstrate active participation for volunteering in the community
