We are recruiting 10–12 young people to join a paid Youth Panel that will help shape the West London Regional Park, which will connect more than 500 hectares of parks, waterways and green spaces through a 13km trail from Greenford to Brentford. Panel members will influence the park’s design, identity, accessibility, activities and future management. The programme will begin with a two-day walking Urban Hack on Monday 26th and Tuesday 27th October, from 10am to 3pm. Participants will explore sections of the park while considering accessibility, play, biodiversity, culture, heritage, wayfinding and community use. Panel members will be paid for their time, with agreed travel expenses covered, and will receive training, mentoring and opportunities to share their ideas with decision-makers.
