About PFIC Network
PFIC Network is a nonprofit dedicated to supporting individuals and families affected by progressive familial intrahepatic cholestasis (PFIC), a group of rare genetic liver diseases.

In 2026, we received a Eugene Washington Engagement Award (EACB-42398) from the Patient-Centered Outcomes Research Institute (PCORI) to support the development of a research consortium focused on patient-centered comparative clinical effectiveness research in PFIC.

In the first year of the project, we created a steering committee, which will be developing a governance charter and research agenda for the research consortium in 2027. You can learn more about the project by visiting www.consortium.pfic.org.
About This Role
We're hiring a part-time, remote, independent contractor to support the consortium, including coordinating steering meetings, records, and policy documentation, and supporting the administration of this PCORI award. It's a good fit for someone with grant administration, clinical research coordination, or nonprofit governance experience who's comfortable working independently.
