KEDC Board of Directors Application
Thank you for considering Board service with Kodiak Economic Development Corporation. The Board governs KEDC and helps put our strategic plan into practice. We currently have two open voting seats and accept applications on a rolling basis. Anyone interested may apply. Applications are reviewed with consideration for each applicant’s experience and contribution to the Board as a whole. The Board meets monthly for one hour. Our strategic plan encourages members to contribute 2 to 4 hours per month overall, maintain at least 75 percent meeting attendance and prepare for financial and strategic discussions. Members also contribute through a committee or initiative liaison role, meet with KEDC’s Executive Director quarterly and take part in the annual Board assessment. As part of the application process, the Executive Director will meet with you to share more information about Board service and answer your questions. The Executive Director shares applications with the Board for consideration. The Board votes on appointments, with upcoming reviews planned for October and November 2026. Applying does not guarantee selection.
