Kodiak Housing Action Partnership Application
Help carry out Kodiak’s Housing Action Plan by joining the Kodiak Housing Action Partnership, formerly the Housing Steering Committee. The Partnership is a KEDC working and advisory group focused on turning the plan into action. Over the next 12 months, the Partnership plans to focus on improving policies identified in the Housing Action Plan and strengthening community education and engagement around housing.

Anyone may apply. We especially want to include members of Kodiak’s workforce who do not currently own homes. Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis, considering each applicant’s experience and the contribution they could make to the group as a whole.

Housing Partnership Application
Choose a role that fits how you can contribute. Core members lead agreed-upon actions and report on progress. Advisory members contribute subject-matter expertise. Community partners support outreach and communication. The Partnership meets monthly at lunchtime at KEDC’s office, with lunch provided. Meetings resume Thursday, October 15, 2026; the exact meeting time is still to be confirmed.

Resource Review and Acknowledgment
After you apply, KEDC’s Executive Director will meet with you to share more about the Partnership, discuss how you would like to participate, and answer your questions. The conversation will also cover the work you could take on between meetings. KEDC will follow up about participation and the next meeting. Submitting an application does not guarantee acceptance.
