The Seattle Urban Book Exchange (SUBE) invites aspiring adult children’s book authors to participate in a 9-week, hands-on Children’s Book Writing MasterClass designed to guide you through the creative and publishing process. From developing memorable characters and crafting engaging stories to exploring publishing options, this workshop will help you transform your ideas into a children’s book you can be proud of. SUBE is a literary program of Acts On Stage Theater

And there’s more! Selected participants who successfully complete the full 9-week course will receive a $750 publishing stipend to support the publication of the children’s book they create during the MasterClass.

Whether you’re a first-time writer or have a story waiting to be told, this is an opportunity to develop your skills, explore your creativity, and take the first step toward becoming a published children’s book author.

The MasterClass will be taught by Jeffrey Cheatham II, an award-winning children’s book author and Literary Program Coordinator for Acts On Stage Theater.
