    • Specific implementation of therapy for Borderline Personality Disorder (BPD), Narcissistic Personality Disorder, Cluster C Personality Disorders, and Chronic Depression
    • Practical hands-on and experiential exercises such as imagery and chair-work, and working through commonly experienced difficulties such as working with the Detached Protector and Parent modes
    • Signs of Therapist's Schema Interference in Therapy
    • Empathic Confrontation and Limit setting for Punitive and Demanding Parent modes, and Maladaptive Coping Modes

  • The Trainer: 

    Chris Hayes

    Chris is based in Perth, Western Australia. Since 2005, he has been practicing as an advanced Schema Therapist, supervisor and trainer having completed certification in Schema Therapy at the Schema Therapy Institute in New York City (USA) with Dr Jeffery Young.

    He has presented workshops throughout Europe, Asia and Australasia. He is the Director of Schema Therapy Training Australia.

        TERMS

        Applications are accepted on a first-come, first- served basis. This form must be accompanied by payment to reserve a slot. Your payment will be returned if there are no places available.

        REFUNDS

        Refunds (less 10%) are only given for cancellations received by 5pm on 1 March 2027. Due to limited places, we do not offer refunds beyond this date. Cancellations must be received in writing to appointments@apsy.sg. In the event of cancellation due to circumstances beyond our control, the training will be postponed, and we will provide an alternative date for this course to be run within a 12-month period.
