Multistakeholder emergency response mechanism to secure civilian Internet access in conflict and crisis contexts: explore the design, realisation and implementation of such a multistakeholder mechanism and present a workable blue-print by December.
Normative frameworks and what they say about the protection of core Internet resources and civilian internet access during conflicts and crises: engage stakeholders in a discussion on which frameworks - including UN norms, IHL and IHRL, and specific Internet community norms around interoperability and accessibility - are relevant, and map synergies and gaps and report on findings at the IGF meeting in Nairobi.
Promoting and strengthening a holistic multistakeholder approach to securing Internet access and Internet core resources: discuss a multistakeholder approach that encompasses preparedness, protection, and recovery and report on best practices and ways forward at the IGF in Nairobi.
IGF multistakeholder input to the UN 1st Committee Global Mechanism on Developments in the Field of ICTs in the Context of International Security: explore ways to provide multistakeholder input to the Global Mechanism and its Dedicated Thematic Groups
