1. Acknowledgment of Risk

I, the undersigned, understand that working with, riding, handling, hauling, or being in the vicinity of horses involves inherent risks, including but not limited to:
The unpredictable behavior of horses
The risk of injury from falls, bites, kicks, or collisions
Environmental risks (slippery footing, weather, wildlife)
Risks associated with training, hauling, boarding, competition, and riding activities
I voluntarily assume all such risks and understand that Bad B Performance Horses, its owners, trainers, agents, employees, and affiliates (collectively referred to as "Bad B") cannot guarantee my safety or that of my horse(s).

2. Louisiana Law

WARNING - Under Louisiana law, a farm animal activity sponsor or farm animal professional is not liable for an injury to or the death of a participant in a farm animal activity resulting from the inherent risks of the farm animal activity, pursuant to R.S. 9:2795.1.

In consideration of being allowed to participate in or receive any and all services provided by Bad B Performance Horses, including but not limited to horse training, riding instruction, hauling, sales or consignment, clinics, boarding, and event participation, I hereby release and hold harmless Bad B from any and all liability, claims, demands, causes of action, damages, or expenses (including attorney fees) arising from:

Personal injury, property damage, or death
Illness, lameness, injury, or death of any horse in Bad B's care
Loss or theft of equipment or personal property
Hauling or transport-related issues

This release applies whether arising from negligence or otherwise, to the fullest extent permitted by law.

In the event of an emergency, I authorize a Bad B team member to secure medical or veterinary attention for myself, my child, or my horse(s) as deemed necessary. I agree to be financially responsible for any related costs.

Note: At Bad B Performance Horses, we take pride in showcasing our program while also protecting the integrity and value of each horse. We understand the risks associated with social media and are committed to posting responsibly. This means we will avoid sharing identifying details, such as horse names, brands, or unique markings, without prior permission. Our goal is to represent your horse in a professional, respectful way that supports its reputation, not risks it. I acknowledge that Bad B Performance Horses may take photos or videos of me, my child, or my horse(s) during services, and I understand these may be used for promotional purposes including social media, the website, and other marketing materials.

A note on payment: This form does not total up your package and add-on costs. The $100 deposit above simply secures your booking and will be credited toward your first invoice. Payment for your horse's first full week is due at drop-off, minus this deposit. After that, you will be invoiced every Friday for the upcoming week of Monday-Sunday. Each invoice will be sent to you separately, through a different message.
