Carnival 2027 Procession Entry Form

Leighton-Linslade is a membership organisation (no membership fees payable).Contact details entered on this form will be stored on Leighton-Linslade Carnival membership database, and will only be used for purposes related to Carnival, It will not be shared with other groups or organisations.
All fields marked with * are required and must be filled.
There is no set theme for Carnival 2027, so procession entrants can "do their own thing"

it will be held on 10th July 2027 at Parsons Close Recreation Ground

The Procession will assemble in Mentmore Road between Cedars Way and Tiddenfoot Country Park, and will depart at 11.30am. Judging will take place from 11.00am.

Your attention is drawn to rule 22, “No float may be dismantled in Parsons Close”

Cash prize will be awarded for 1st places in each category.

Floats will disperse from Parsons Close at approximately 4pm.

Final details regarding the event will be issued during the week before Carnival.

If you are entering a float you can source your own vehicle, or contact S&J Pierce on LB 850009 to see how they can help you. We do not book vehicles for you.

All procession entries can have a 4m stall pitch free of charge. Please indicate here if you wish to book a pitch. Please use the stall booking form to book a pitch if you want to take up this option (select procession entrant as stall type)
Responsible Person as in Rule 7:

"Each entry must nominate one adult Responsible Person. The Responsible Person is responsible for: the entry and its participants; ensuring that everyone associated with the entry understands and follows these rules; ensuring that the entry complies with its Risk Assessment; and following reasonable instructions from the Procession Organiser and marshals"

Nominated Steward as in Rule 8:

“Each procession entry must nominate at least one adult to walk alongside the entry and act as a steward during the procession. The steward is responsible for helping to maintain the safety of participants and members of the public around the entry. Where possible, the nominated steward should attend the procession briefing held on the Thursday before Carnival Day. The nominated steward will automatically be registered as a member of Leighton-Linslade Carnival for the purposes of participating in the event.”
