Central Exchange's 25th Annual Midwest Leadership Summit!

Each year, the Summit brings together hundreds of leaders from across the region for a day of inspiration, connection, and development. In 2027, we’ll mark our 25th year and look ahead to what comes next.

We are currently seeking breakout speakers to share fresh perspectives, real-world expertise, and meaningful takeaways with our attendees. Our committee will review all applications carefully to select a small group of presenters for the 2027 Summit, taking place on April 27, 2027.

Please submit your application by October 30, 2026. Our team will contact you by late November if you are selected for further consideration. Please note that keynote speakers for 2027 have already been chosen.

 

REQUIREMENTS:

• Must be able to align presentation content with the event’s leadership theme. This year’s theme is BECOME, an invitation to consider who we are becoming as leaders and what it takes to move toward what’s next. Sessions should help attendees think differently about what’s next and take meaningful steps toward the leader they want to become.

• Must be available to present the same breakout session once in the morning and once in the afternoon on Tuesday, April 27, 2027 at the Overland Park Convention Center. One session will be hybrid, with an in-person audience and virtual attendees joining live and participating during the session. The hybrid session will be recorded.

• Must provide at least one video example of you presenting to an in-person audience, along with the short application video requested below.

 

BREAKOUT SPEAKER COMPENSATION:

• Choice of compensation: $1,000 stipend or a complimentary table of 10 seats to fill with clients or guests.

• Marketing & Recognition:

• Your name and company featured on the Summit website’s Meet the Thought Leaders page.

• At least one dedicated email and social media post promoting your session.

• Inclusion in the printed workbook, which also includes the full event agenda distributed to all attendees.

• Recognition on event signage.

• Post-event visibility with session recordings shared with attendees and session photos on CX’s platforms

• All photos and videos taken of you and your session after the event.

• Promotion Opportunities:
  • Complimentary vendor booth in the CX Marketplace to connect with attendees throughout the day. 
  • Opportunity to present additional programs to Central Exchange members after the Summit.
