You must be an Active ECAR Member to serve on an ECAR Committee.
If a committee is open only to REALTOR® members or has additional eligibility, training, or service requirements, those requirements will be noted in the committee description.
Serving on an ECAR committee is a great way to get involved, build relationships, share your expertise, and have a voice in the work of your Association. Before applying, please consider the time commitment that comes with committee service.
Most ECAR committees meet once per month at either the Fort Walton Beach or Santa Rosa Beach office. Some committees may also host or participate in events, activities, or projects outside of their regular monthly meetings. If selected, we ask that you be willing and able to dedicate the time needed to actively participate in your committee throughout the year.
Please note: Not every committee meets for the full year. A few committees have a shorter service period or a different meeting schedule. These exceptions are noted in the individual committee descriptions below, so please review each description carefully before making your selections.
Choosing Your Committees
You may select up to five (5) committees you are interested in serving on. You will be asked to rank your selections in order of preference:
1 = Your top choice
2 = Your second choice
3 = Your third choice
4 = Your fourth choice
5 = Your fifth choice
Please rank your choices thoughtfully so we know which committees you are most interested in serving on. Committee placement is based on several factors, and selecting a committee does not guarantee placement. If you are selected to serve on multiple committees, please carefully consider whether you are able to commit the necessary time to each one. If you are selected for all of your choices but are unable to fully participate in all, please determine which committees you are able to commit to and notify the Chair of any committee you need to step away from as soon as possible.
If you have questions about the time commitment or expectations for a particular committee, please contact Association staff. We will be happy to connect you with the committee Chair or Vice-Chair for additional information.
