2026 Board Election Nomination Form
How to complete this nomination form
- Three people need to complete this nomination process: the first nominator, the second nominator, and the person wishing to stand for the Board (the nominee).
- All three people must be from different businesses that are current members of WQ TMA. Each person completes their own section of this online form and then clicks Submit.
- For example, if you are the first nominator, complete Section 1, then scroll to the end of the form and click Submit. The second nominator and the nominee then complete their respective sections and submit their forms in the same way.
- For each person standing for election to the Board, three separate forms will be received. These will then be collated to make up the complete nomination.
Election conditions and selection process
- Only full members of WQ TMA can nominate another full member to stand for selection to the Board of WQ TMA.
- All nominations must be made in writing and sent by e-mail to arrive no later than 5pm Wednesday 11th November 2026
- Receipt will be acknowledged by e-mail within two working days
- The two nominators, both of whom must be full members of WQ TMA, must complete their sections in full
- The nominee is the person who is seeking election to the Board of WQ TMA as a representative of their organisation. The nominees organisation must have already been accepted as a full member, having completed and submitted a membership application form and paid the appropriate fee
- All seats on the WQ TMA Board belong to the member organisation or business and not to any individual
- If there are insufficient nominations to fill all vacant seats, those who have applied will automatically be elected to the Board. The remaining vacant seats will become casual vacancies
- If the number of nominations is equal to the number of vacant seats, then the persons nominated will be deemed to be elected
- If the number of nominations exceeds the vacancies, then a poll will be conducted at the AGM on Wednesday the 25th of November 2026. Only full members of WQ TMA can vote
