1. ASSUMPTION OF RISK

I understand that breaking (breakdancing) is a strenuous physical activity involving inherent risks, including falls, collisions, physical contact, strains, sprains, fractures, dislocations, concussions, head or neck injuries, serious bodily injury, and other injuries.

I voluntarily choose to participate and knowingly assume all known and unknown risks associated with warm-ups, practice, competition, and my presence in the competition area. I am responsible for determining whether I am physically able to participate safely.
2. RELEASE OF LIABILITY
In consideration of being permitted to participate, I release, waive, discharge, and covenant not to sue Style Elements LLC, Style Elements Foundation Inc., Style Elements Crew, and their founders, officers, staff, volunteers, contractors, judges, sponsors, affiliates, event venues, and agents from claims arising from injury, illness, death, property damage, or loss related to my participation, including claims arising from ordinary negligence, to the fullest extent permitted by law.
3. PARTICIPANT RESPONSIBILITY & CONDUCT
I agree to follow competition rules and reasonable instructions from event staff, judges, and venue personnel. I understand that event organizers may remove or disqualify a participant whose conduct creates a safety risk to themselves or others.
4. EMERGENCY MEDICAL AUTHORIZATION
If an injury or medical emergency occurs, I authorize event personnel to obtain reasonable first aid and emergency medical treatment, including ambulance transportation when necessary. I understand that I am responsible for resulting medical expenses except where otherwise required by law.
5. PHOTO & MEDIA RELEASE
I understand that this is a public event and that photography, video, livestreaming, audio recording, and other media coverage may occur. By participating and signing this agreement, I authorize Style Elements LLC and Style Elements Foundation Inc. to photograph, film, record, reproduce, publish, and use my image, likeness, voice, and performance for event documentation, promotional materials, websites, social media, broadcasts, livestreams, and other Style Elements-related purposes without compensation or additional approval. I understand that acceptance of this Photo & Media Release is a condition of participation.
I have read and understand this agreement, voluntarily accept its terms, and understand that signing it is required to participate. This agreement is governed by California law. If any provision is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions will remain in full force and effect as permitted by law.
