Why the November flight deadline?

Flight-inclusive pricing is based on projected airfare. UTSSC has historically paid around $650 for comparable western Canada trips, but current fuel and airline-pricing volatility makes future fares less predictable. This degree of uncertainty is new for us too. Registrations or flight payments received after November 16, 2026 may be subject to a higher airfare supplement if UTSSC cannot secure the advertised package price.

The week

Here's how it works.

Sunday · Feb 14

Toronto → Calgary → Revelstoke

UTSSC flight groups arrive in Calgary and meet the group transportation. The bus will depart Calgary in the afternoon for Revelstoke.

Monday · Feb 15

First ski day

Wake up in Revelstoke and get on the mountain.

Monday–Friday

Choose 3, 4 or 5 ski days

Ski every day or build in a rest day or two. Your lift option is completely up to you.

Friday · Feb 19

Ski the last day. Then we head home.

The bus is scheduled to depart Revelstoke at approximately 3:30 PM. Weather and road conditions may require an earlier departure.

Flights

Please don't book your flight yet.

We first need enough participants to officially launch the trip. If you're choosing Land Only, wait until UTSSC tells you the trip has reached viable numbers before purchasing airfare.

Why do we book flights in smaller groups?

Buying forty or fifty seats at once can push airfare sharply upward. UTSSC books participants in smaller blocks to help keep pricing more stable while still coordinating everyone around the Calgary transfer.

Booking your own flight?

That's fine once we give the go-ahead—but you're responsible for reaching Calgary within the required arrival window. If your independently booked flight is delayed and you miss the group bus, UTSSC may not be able to hold the entire group in Calgary.

Equipment

Bring yours or rent there.

UTSSC does not organize equipment rentals for Revelstoke. There are plenty of rental options at the mountain and around town, so you can choose what works for your budget and setup.

Rent at the mountain

Maximum convenience. Rent directly from Revelstoke Mountain Resort and leave your equipment at the mountain between ski days instead of carrying it back and forth.

Rent in town

Revelstoke has several independent ski and snowboard rental shops. These can be more affordable, but you're responsible for getting yourself to and from the shop.

Important: airfare

We book your flight for you.

UTSSC purchases airfare individually on your behalf rather than through a large group-flight contract. Once your flight has been purchased, any cancellation, airline credit or refund is governed by the specific fare type we purchased for you. Lower-cost fares may be non-refundable or may have limited change or credit options.

Need a more flexible or refundable flight?
Contact UTSSC before we purchase your ticket. We can book a more flexible fare, but you will be responsible for the additional cost.

Refunds

January 4, 2027

January 4 is the refund deadline for UTSSC trip costs that remain recoverable. Airfare that has already been purchased is not automatically refundable and remains subject to the rules of the specific airline fare booked on your behalf. After the refund deadline, remaining trip payments and committed costs are non-refundable except where UTSSC is able to recover funds from a supplier.

The important stuff.

$150 of your initial payment is your trip deposit. The trip deposit is refundable until January 4, 2027. After January 4, all trip payments are non-refundable.

If UTSSC has already purchased airfare on your behalf, any refund, credit or change to that flight is subject to the rules of the fare booked with the airline.

Hotel damage deposit

$50

A $50 refundable hotel damage deposit will be collected for the trip. This will be returned after the trip provided there are no hotel damage, excessive cleaning, or other room-related charges attributable to your stay.

Final payments

Final trip payments will be collected by e-transfer when invoices are sent. If you require another payment method, please reach out to us at that time.
