  • The UK maritime sector is undergoing significant change, driven by advances in autonomy, artificial intelligence, digitalisation, decarbonisation and evolving customer requirements.

    SMIFutures is seeking views from organisations across the wider maritime industry to build a clearer picture of current skills shortages and future workforce needs. The findings will help inform engagement with industry, education providers and policymakers, and support future careers and workforce activity.
