1. UNDERSTANDING OUR WORK TOGETHER
Healing by Releasing offers an integrative wellness approach that may include life and wellness coaching, emotional trauma release, nervous-system regulation practices, Quantum Reflex Analysis (QRA), Remote QRA, AO Scan bioresonance, nutritional and lifestyle wellness education, supplement recommendations, and optional mud packing or i-packing. These methods may be used individually or together during a session. The methods used may vary according to the client’s goals, preferences, suitability, and ongoing consent.
The practitioner’s role is to support awareness, emotional well-being, self-understanding, and practical wellness strategies consistent with the client’s goals. Experiences and results vary. No physical, emotional, personal, financial, or other result is promised or guaranteed.
Participation is voluntary. The client remains responsible for personal decisions, actions, healthcare choices, and use of information discussed during sessions. The client may ask questions, decline or stop any method, request a modification, or discontinue services at any time.
2. CLIENT EXPECTATIONS
The client agrees to provide information that is accurate and complete to the best of the client’s knowledge; disclose relevant allergies, sensitivities, medications, supplements, pregnancy or breastfeeding, planned procedures, injuries, skin conditions, mobility restrictions, and other information material to safe participation; communicate pain, discomfort, concerns, and boundaries; follow product labels and seek licensed medical advice when appropriate; participate only while in a reasonably safe setting; and provide at least 24 hours’ notice to cancel or reschedule. I agree to notify the practitioner of material changes in my health status, medications, supplements, pregnancy or breastfeeding status, injuries, sensitivities, or other information relevant to safe participation.
Repeated lateness, missed appointments, inappropriate behavior, boundary violations, nonpayment, or circumstances that make the relationship unsafe, unlawful, outside the practitioner’s scope, or otherwise unsuitable may result in services being declined, referred, suspended, or discontinued.
3. NATURE AND LIMITS OF SERVICES
Arlena Parker is not acting as the client’s physician, psychotherapist, psychologist, psychiatrist, registered dietitian, attorney, or financial adviser. These services are educational, personal-development, coaching, or complementary wellness services. They are not medical or mental-health diagnosis or treatment and are not substitutes for care from an appropriately licensed professional.
The services are not intended to diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent disease. QRA, Remote QRA, muscle-response testing, AO Scan reports, coaching observations, and wellness discussions do not establish that a disease, deficiency, toxicity, allergy, infection, or other medical condition is present or absent. The client will not use information from a session to delay necessary care or to begin, stop, or change prescribed medication or treatment without consulting the appropriate licensed professional.
Healing by Releasing does not provide emergency or crisis services. A person experiencing a medical or mental-health emergency, suicidal thoughts, danger, or severe or rapidly worsening symptoms should contact emergency services or an appropriate crisis resource where that person is physically located.
4. INTEGRATED NATURE OF SERVICES
Session fees compensate the practitioner for time and the overall integrated session, not for a separately priced medical procedure, diagnosis, prescription, or guaranteed outcome. By signing this agreement, the client acknowledges that any of the listed methods may be discussed or offered during present or future sessions. The practitioner will still obtain the client’s ongoing consent before touch, scanning, recording, mud or i-pack application, or another method requiring specific permission. The client may decline any method without being required to discontinue all other services.
5. CALIFORNIA COMPLEMENTARY SERVICES DISCLOSURE
Arlena Parker is not a licensed physician. The services described in this agreement are alternative or complementary to healing-arts services licensed by the State of California. These services are not licensed by the State of California.
Nature of services: Services may include life coaching and personal-development conversations; emotional trauma-release and nervous-system regulation practices; Quantum Reflex Analysis using manual muscle-response testing and QRA protocols; Remote QRA through Zoom or another agreed platform; AO Scan bioresonance wellness reports; discussion or testing of nutritional supplements; nutritional and lifestyle wellness education; optional mud packing or i-packing; and other mutually agreed complementary wellness practices within the practitioner’s training and lawful scope.
Theory of services: Coaching, emotional trauma-release, and nervous-system practices draw on personal-development, mind-body, behavioral, somatic, and nervous-system-oriented concepts intended to support awareness, self-regulation, personal choice, and client-selected goals. QRA is based on the complementary-wellness theory that changes in muscle response at selected reflex points may provide information about bioenergetic patterns and areas that may benefit from wellness or nutritional support. QRA may consider structural factors, EMBEDS, emotional factors, and interference fields. QRA findings are not medical diagnoses and do not replace laboratory testing, imaging, physical examination, or medical evaluation. Remote QRA uses an adapted process while practitioner and client are in different locations and cannot duplicate every aspect of an in-person session. AO Scan bioresonance is based on frequency and bioenergetic wellness concepts; its reports are informational wellness reports, not laboratory tests, medical imaging, or medical diagnoses. Mud packing or i-packing involves topical application to an agreed area as part of a complementary wellness protocol and is not medical treatment.
Education, training, experience, and qualifications: Arlena Parker has a degree in Family Counseling, completed Advanced Strategic Intervention Coach training through Robbins-Madanes Training, is trained as a Trauma-Informed Life Coach, and completed Premier Research Labs Quantum Reflex Analysis training Levels 1 through 3. These qualifications do not constitute a California license to practice medicine, psychotherapy, psychology, dietetics, or another licensed healing art.
6. QRA, MANUAL MUSCLE TESTING, AND TOUCH
In-person QRA may involve noninvasive manual muscle-response testing, positioning of an arm or another agreed body area, contact at selected reflex points, and the client holding test vials, supplements, or other testing materials. The practitioner will explain the intended contact. Consent to touch is voluntary and limited to the contact explained and agreed upon. The client may request modification, decline contact with any area, or stop testing at any time. Consent may be withdrawn prospectively at any time.
7. RISKS, LIMITATIONS, AND POSSIBLE RESPONSES
Emotional, coaching, or mind-body work may bring up temporary emotional discomfort, fatigue, sadness, anxiety, memories, bodily sensations, or other responses. Manual muscle testing or positioning may cause temporary fatigue, soreness, discomfort, dizziness, or aggravation of a preexisting injury. The client should promptly report pain, injury, mobility limits, touch sensitivity, or discomfort.
QRA and AO Scan information may be incomplete, variable, inaccurate, misinterpreted, or unsupported by conventional clinical evidence. Results may differ between sessions or practitioners. Relying on complementary wellness information in place of licensed healthcare may delay diagnosis or treatment.
Supplements may cause allergies, sensitivities, digestive symptoms, headaches, changes in sleep or energy, medication or supplement interactions, or other unwanted effects. Risks may be greater with medical conditions, pregnancy, breastfeeding, surgery, or use of multiple products. “Natural” does not mean risk-free.
Mud packing or i-packing may cause dryness, irritation, staining, discomfort, or allergic or sensitivity reactions. Products must not be applied to broken or infected skin, placed in the eyes, or ingested. The client agrees to report significant discomfort or an unexpected reaction and obtain appropriate medical attention when needed.
8. AO SCAN BIORESONANCE
AO Scan reports are generated through a third-party system. The client’s name, email address, and information reasonably necessary to provide the service may be processed by that system, and results may be delivered electronically to the address supplied by the client. AO Scan results are wellness information and are not diagnoses, laboratory results, medical imaging, or confirmation that any disease is present or absent. AO Scan is performed only with the client’s separate consent.
9. SUPPLEMENTS AND FINANCIAL DISCLOSURE
Supplement recommendations are optional wellness suggestions, not prescriptions. The client may decline any recommendation, purchase a product from another source, or consult a physician or pharmacist before purchasing or using it. QRA or other wellness testing cannot guarantee that a product is necessary, safe, effective, free from allergens or contamination, or compatible with the client’s medications, supplements, conditions, pregnancy, breastfeeding, or planned procedures. The client is responsible for reading labels, ingredients, warnings, storage requirements, expiration information, and directions.
Arlena Parker may recommend or sell products from Premier Research Labs and other supplement manufacturers or sellers. She may receive retail profit, commission, referral compensation, account credit, discounts, incentives, or another financial benefit when a client purchases through Healing by Releasing, a practitioner account, an affiliate or referral link, or another arrangement connected with her. Product costs are separate from session fees unless stated otherwise in writing. A client is not required to buy from Arlena Parker or any particular seller in order to receive services.
Supplement sales made directly by Healing by Releasing are final except for an incorrect, damaged, defective, or recalled product and any right that cannot legally be waived. Purchases from a manufacturer or third-party seller are governed by that seller’s policies. Healing by Releasing does not manufacture supplements and cannot control or guarantee a third party’s ingredients, labeling, availability, shipping, storage, manufacturing, efficacy, safety, data practices, or return decisions.
10. MUD PACKING OR I-PACKING
Mud packing or i-packing is optional. The product, intended application area, and procedure will be explained before use. The client agrees to disclose known skin conditions, open wounds, infections, topical or adhesive sensitivities, and relevant allergies. The client may consent to practitioner application, consent only to self-application with instructions, or decline. Consent may be changed or withdrawn before or during application.
11. REMOTE AND INTERNATIONAL SERVICES
For each remote session, the client agrees to accurately state the country and state, province, or region where the client is physically located and provide an emergency contact and local emergency location when requested. The client will not participate while driving or in another unsafe setting. Remote sessions may involve internet failure, privacy limitations, difficulty observing physical or emotional cues, and inability to provide physical assistance.
For a remote session, I am responsible for participating from a reasonably private location where I am comfortable speaking and am unlikely to be overheard or interrupted. I am also responsible for using reasonable security measures on my device and internet connection.
The practitioner will inform me and obtain my permission before allowing another person to observe or participate in my session. I agree to tell the practitioner if another person is present with me.
If internet, video, audio, or another required technology becomes inadequate, either party may pause or discontinue the remote session. We may attempt to reconnect, continue by another agreed method when appropriate, or reschedule the remaining time.
Laws governing coaching, wellness education, nutrition-related discussion, privacy, work with minors, and complementary practices differ by location. Healing by Releasing may decline, limit, refer, or discontinue remote services when legal, safety, privacy, insurance, or scope concerns arise. To the extent permitted by applicable law, this agreement is interpreted under California law, without removing mandatory rights that apply where the client is located.
12. CONFIDENTIALITY, PRIVACY, AND RECORDS
Information shared by the client will be treated as private and handled with reasonable care, but coaching and complementary wellness communications may not have the same legal privilege or statutory confidentiality protections as communications with a licensed physician, psychotherapist, or attorney. Information may be disclosed with the client’s authorization; as reasonably necessary to operate services through vendors and service providers; when required by applicable law, court order, subpoena, or other valid legal process; or when permitted or required to address a serious and immediate safety concern.
Electronic forms, email, text messaging, videoconferencing, scheduling systems, payment processors, AO Scan systems, and cloud storage carry privacy and cybersecurity risks even when reasonable safeguards are used. Service-related information may be discussed in a genuinely deidentified manner for professional consultation, supervision, risk management, or education. Identifying information, photos, audio, video, testimonials, or session details will not be used publicly without separate authorization. Records will be retained and disposed of according to applicable law and reasonable practice procedures. The client will receive a copy of this signed agreement.
13. PAYMENT, CANCELLATION, AND REFUND POLICY
Payment is due in full before the appointment unless another arrangement is confirmed in writing. The client may cancel or reschedule without a cancellation charge by giving at least 24 hours’ notice. Cancellation less than 24 hours before the scheduled start or failure to attend without notice will result in a charge equal to 50 percent of the scheduled service fee, except to the extent prohibited by law.
Late arrival may shorten the session. If insufficient time remains to provide services responsibly, the appointment may be rescheduled and the late-cancellation charge may apply. Completed sessions are nonrefundable. Payments for unused prepaid sessions are refundable. Any applicable processing terms, package adjustments, or legally required refunds will be handled as stated at purchase and as required by law.
14. RECORDING
Neither practitioner nor client may record a session unless every person participating gives advance permission and the recording is lawful. Consent to receive services is not consent to recording or public use. Recording or use for training, education, testimonials, advertising, promotional material, websites, or social media requires a separate, optional written media authorization. Declining media authorization will not affect access to services. A client may revoke authorization for future use by written notice, but revocation cannot undo lawful use or distribution that occurred before receipt of the revocation.
15. CLIENT RESPONSIBILITY, RIGHT TO CHOOSE, NO GUARANTEE, AND MINORS
The client is responsible for the client’s own decisions and participation. Nothing in this agreement releases gross negligence, recklessness, intentional misconduct, fraud, unlawful conduct, or any right, duty, claim, or remedy that applicable law does not permit the client to waive. The client may decline any question, exercise, recommendation, supplement, scan, touch, mud pack, i-pack, or other method and may withdraw consent prospectively at any time. Fees already earned and the cancellation policy may still apply.
Results vary. No outcome, symptom change, level of improvement, timeline, diagnosis, cure, or prevention has been promised or guaranteed.
For a client under 18, this agreement must be signed by a parent or legally authorized guardian unless applicable law provides otherwise. The signer represents that the signer has authority to consent and will disclose any custody order or legal restriction affecting that authority. The practitioner may also require the minor’s age-appropriate assent and may decline a service that the minor resists or that is not appropriate.
