Bring your class to Chappelle Gardens for an affordable winter field trip!

Winter School Group Bookings are available on a first-come, first-served basis, with special off-peak pricing for both individual classes and larger school groups.

Bookings are designed for groups of up to approximately 150 students, with flexibility of up to approximately 15 students to accommodate class and grade sizes. Required supervising adults are in addition to the student capacity.

Off-Peak School Group Bookings starting at just $100
Reduced rates are available in May, September and during the winter skating season, with special pricing for groups of up to 60 students.

Bookings are designed for up to 150 students, with flexibility of +/-15 students to accommodate class and grade sizes.
Estimated Number of Supervising Adults

Providing alternate dates makes it easier for us to accommodate your group. Winter bookings are confirmed on a first-come, first-served basis, subject to availability.
What type of booking would you like?
Thursday bookings are scheduled from 9:00 am to 2:00 pm to accommodate Edmonton Public Schools' early dismissal schedule. If your group requires additional time on a Thursday, please let us know below. Adjustments may be possible depending on facility availability.
Winter Visit Information

Chappelle Gardens' outdoor skating rinks are weather dependent. Sustained cold temperatures of approximately -10°C or lower are generally required before the rinks can be safely prepared and opened.

Students must bring their own skates. CSA-approved helmets are strongly encouraged.

If seasonal or weather conditions are expected to affect your booking, CGRA will contact you.
